- One account per person or firm. Duplicate or impersonation accounts will be terminated without refund.
4.Description of Service
- Intern Router is a routing and matchmaking platform connecting estate surveying students with NIESV-affiliated firms in Nigeria. We do NOT employ Students, do NOT pay stipends, and do NOT guarantee placement.
- We facilitate communication, route Applications between parties, host uploaded documents, send transactional emails, and maintain a directory of participating Firms.
- Internship terms, stipends (if any), working conditions, and duration are determined exclusively by the Firm and Student in their direct engagement.
5.Processing Fee & Payments
- Bank: Opay
- Account Number: 9015297757
- Account Name: Intern Router Services
- The Fee covers: payment verification, document review, transmission to your first-choice Firm, and re-routing to your second and third choices if necessary.
- The Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance, including but not limited to: rejection by all three chosen Firms, withdrawal of the Application, change of mind, or expiry of the application period.
- Payment proof must be uploaded at the time of Application. Verification typically occurs within 24 working hours.
- We do not currently process card or wallet payments through the Platform. Any communication asking you to pay through another channel is fraudulent — report it immediately.
6.Student Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide only truthful information on your profile and Application.
- Upload only your own genuine documents (CV, application letter, proof of payment).
- Not impersonate another person or institution.
- Not submit fraudulent payment proofs.
- Respond promptly to communications from us or your chosen Firms.
- Conduct yourself professionally if accepted to an internship.
You acknowledge that submitting false information is grounds for immediate termination of your account, forfeiture of your Processing Fee, and may be reported to your institution or NIESV.
7.Firm Responsibilities
Firms agree to:
- Maintain accurate firm profile information, including current intern slot availability.
- Review forwarded Applications in good faith and within a reasonable time (target: 7 working days).
- Provide a safe, professional, and lawful working environment for any accepted intern.
- Comply with all applicable Nigerian labour and professional regulations.
- Not request additional fees from Students for being considered or placed.
- Honour any commitment (e.g. confirmed slot) made through the Platform.
8.Application Routing Process
- Students select up to three (3) Firms in order of preference at the point of Application.
- Once payment is verified, the Application is forwarded to the FIRST-CHOICE Firm only.
- If the first-choice Firm rejects, declines to respond within 14 calendar days, or has no available slots, the Application is automatically forwarded to the SECOND-CHOICE Firm.
- The same logic applies for the THIRD-CHOICE Firm.
- If all three Firms decline, the Application is closed. The Processing Fee is not refunded.
- We make no representation or warranty as to any specific Firm accepting any Application.
9.User-Submitted Content & Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of any Content you upload (CV, application letter, profile information, firm description, etc.).
- By uploading, you grant Intern Router a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, transmit, display, and distribute that Content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and routing Applications to chosen Firms.
- You warrant that your Content does not infringe third-party rights and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or misleading material.
- The Platform itself — including its design, code, branding, name "Intern Router", logo, and all aggregated data — is the exclusive intellectual property of Intern Router Services and protected under Nigerian and international IP law.

You may NOT:

- Scrape, copy, or reproduce the Firm directory or any Platform data.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, compromise, or interfere with Platform infrastructure.
- Use the Platform to harass, defraud, or discriminate against any person.
11.Disclaimers & No Guarantee of Placement
Important — Please Read Carefully
- THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- We do not guarantee that any Application will result in placement, that any Firm will be available, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not responsible for the conduct of Firms, Students, or the terms of any internship arranged through the Platform.
- We are not a recruiter, employer, or labour broker. The contractual relationship for any internship is solely between the Student and the Firm.

15.Changes to These Terms
- We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, send email notice at least 14 days in advance to registered users.
- Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the Platform and may close your account.

- The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through written correspondence directed to legal@internrouter.com.ng.
- If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in Lagos, Nigeria, under the rules of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse.
