Intern Router was born out of frustration. Our founder spent a summer watching his younger sister travel from Enugu to Lagos, letter in hand, only to be turned away by firm after firm. He had seen hundreds of students go through the same ritual — and knew there had to be a better way.
We built the platform we wished existed: one that brings the entire NIESV internship ecosystem online, automates routing, and gives every student — regardless of connections or location — a fair shot at the experience that will define their career.
Each year, thousands of Nigerian estate surveying students have to physically carry application letters from firm to firm across cities — often travelling hours only to be told there are no slots. There is no centralized system, no transparency, and no guarantee. Students waste money and time while firms are buried in disorganized walk-in applications.
Intern Router is a digital routing platform that matches students to NIESV-registered firms in a single application flow. Students rank up to three firms, pay a ₦2,500 processing fee, and we route their application automatically — no letters, no commuting, no guesswork.
We want to be the standard internship infrastructure for Nigeria's surveying profession — the platform every student uses, every firm trusts, and every school recommends. A future where no student is turned away for lack of information.
A student in Calabar applies in five minutes, gets matched to a firm in Lagos within a week, and starts the internship that launches their career — all without leaving home. Firms receive vetted, ranked applicants instead of a stack of unsorted letters. Schools see their students placed faster, and the profession grows on a foundation of fair access.
